Canada’s top ten scams in 2018 include romance, tax schemes

The biggest scams of 2018 cost Canadians approximately $121 million, according to a list compiled by the Better Business Bureau. Romance scams, for example, duped people out of $22.5 million, with fake income tax extortions costing people $6 million. Source
