The wait in Quebec small claims court expected to be cut in half, thanks to new legislation

The national assembly has passed Bill 8, which tackles delays in small claims. The justice minister plans to cut the wait for small claims by more than half. Currently, the average wait for a hearing is 22 months – in some districts, it is over three years. Source
